Quality Improvement Project Officer

Do you want to help improve the care animals receive on a national scale? Are you passionate about improving the working experience of veterinary teams? Are you organised, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic? Are you a great communicator who is highly supportive and caring for the teams that you work with?

We are looking for an RVN to join our friendly, forward-thinking, team.

At RCVS Knowledge, our mission is to advance the quality of veterinary care for the benefit of animals, the public, and society. We champion Quality Improvement and the use of evidence-based veterinary medicine in veterinary practice. We provide practical tools, resources, and education to the veterinary professions.

Working closely with our Quality Improvement team, this is a role in our growing charity which provides a great opportunity to make a real difference to support thousands of dedicated veterinary teams to continuously improve the quality of care they deliver, for the millions of animals in their care.

We’re looking for a proactive team-player, with a positive ‘can-do’ approach, who is excited by the prospects of supporting others and working with a committed team in a fast-paced environment.

We offer an impressive range of benefits, and we were recently named a Top-50 Great Place to Work for five years running.

Salary:

£28,000 with the option to use 2-days a month to maintain practice-based clinical experience (own arrangements to be made). This should be on a flexible basis depending on the needs of the RCVS Knowledge role.

Other benefits:

Annual RCVS registration fees paid. Annual BVNA membership fees paid. CPD allowance. Up to 12% monthly pension employer contribution. Private health cover. Usual working week of 33.75 hours. Season ticket loans. Flexible working. Access to Babylon (online healthcare provider). 25 days holiday, an ex-gratia day, and loyalty days. £250 wellbeing allowance. Permanent health insurance. Life assurance contributions, and more.
